Rebecca Mata, CPA - Senior Accountant

Rebecca first joined our firm in 2018 as an intern and returned in 2023 as a Senior Accountant after gaining experience in accounting advisory at both KPMG and MorganFranklin Consulting. While she gained some great experience working for larger firms, Rebecca is excited to be back on our team supporting local businesses in her hometown. At Foltz & Associates, Rebecca leads our advisory practice and various new initiatives across the firm. She develops new processes and identifies efficiencies to achieve our mission of continuous improvement and excellent customer service. Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Virginia. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys hot yoga and long walks on the Canal Path (usually with a coffee from Hyperion in hand). Rebecca also loves spending quality time with her fiancé, Dan, and her family, including her two younger sisters, one of which is Lily, our favorite intern!
